Go ahead: Cave in to your craving for peanut sauce
My troubles started a few years ago when Alicia dropped by before leaving on vacation. “I’ve cleaned out my refrigerator,” she said, “and I couldn’t bear to waste this peanut sauce. Use it as a dip for chicken.”
That’s exactly what I did the first night. However, there was sauce left over, and every time I passed the refrigerator, what got dipped in was my little finger. Forget chicken. The peanut sauce was going straight from the Tupperware into my greedy mouth.
By the third day I was guarding my supply. With the recipe locked in Alicia’s house and her out of town, panic was bearing down.
There are times when one must admit powerlessness in the face of temptation. Rather than fight it, I simply caved in to the dirty truth: I’m addicted to peanut sauce.
My hunch is that you'll love it, too. Don’t be intimidated by the long list of ingredients! Just open a few jars and throw everything into the blender. In a mere 12 minutes you’ll have a handy solution for a whole new addiction.
