Featured Recipe: Old Fashioned Hamburger Stroganoff
In an effort to downsize once again, I'm cleaning out down to my files this time. The huge old Steelecase filing cabinet that has taken up space in one room or another for the last 15 years hit the yard sale this weekend and is finally gone. But then cleaning out those old files, I came across a box of old printouts of recipes I realized I don't have digital access to anymore.
So I'm saving them for myself on the website and thought you might enjoy revisiting some of these old favorites with me. Let me know what you think and if there are any old Desperation Dinners, Desperation Entertaining or Cheap, Fast, Good recipes you'd like to see on the web, too.

Before reduced fat and reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup was around, I had all but banished this old favorite from the 80's. This beef mixture is just as good over jasmine rice, as well.

First of all the title should read Cheap Fast Great! I found your book at a Scholastic book fair at my daughter's elementary school and am absolutely floored by it. I love stroganoff & I haven't had it in years. When I was younger & poorer there was a Hamburger Helper stroganoff that I made often. Now I have a recipe to try. Thanks
