Do You Juice?

So if you've read any part of this blog you know how much I love food...all kinds. And my personal philosophy has always been what we eat has a huge impact on the way we feel. Eat a heavy, too large dinner with cream, cheese, lots of protein, drink one glass of wine too many and then go to bed, your gonna feel pretty icky in the morning. Just makes sense, right?
Conversely if you eat a salad with light protein and low calorie or no dressing, moderate your alcohol intake and don't sit or lie down immediately following your meal, you'll feel more energized. Make a habit of this type of meal and your days of energy will multiply, right?
So when my sister-in-law, Lynn, suggested I watch Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, I thought, "I know what it's gonna say...it's Morgan Spurlock and the Supersize Me message all over again." But it's actually not. It's not about what NOT to do, this message is about what TO DO.
And what the movie and community suggests is to JUICE. It's a captivating message, really.
So I'm thinking about juicing, not the fast as described in the movie, but adding a juice a day to my diet.
Do you juice? What kind of juicer do you have? What results have you noticed? Add your comments. Stay tuned.....

@ Pat! LOL! I know, it's gonna be interesting to see if I actually can stick to it. The cost is going to be something I will watch carefully and report on, for sure.

I tried juicing several years ago. I never got to the point of knowing whether I felt better because it was just so expensive I quit. You have to use a lot of product to get enough juice to make any difference. My doctor said eat the whole fruit/vegetable instead. Cheaper, easier. Not that I have followed that advice either ...
