OK, I know it's hokey, but Mom and I decided we needed to see Midnight in Paris, the new Woody Allen movie while we were here, in Paris and at midnight. If you haven't seen the movie, I highly suggest you do. It's a great, feel-good film and besides it's about Paris. The opening scene is practically a recap of our visit so far. The Eiffel Tower from the right bank, Champs Elysees from Pt Marcel Dassault towards the Arc de Triomphe, Pont de L'archeveche toward Isle de Cite and Notre Dame and on and on. We laughed at how many times we said, "we saw that, we've been there!"
The movie trailer says, "Paris in the morning is beautiful...."
The flower beds at Ave. Franklin D Roosevelt and the Champs Elysees.
"Paris in the afternoon is charming...."
The pond at Les Jardins des Tuileries.
"Paris in the evening is enchanting..."
Les Editeurs Restaurant, St Germain des Pres.
"But Paris after midnight is magical...."

even in the rain....
