Ha! I do remember. I’m guessing sales of this beer were right up there with the popularity of his brother during his presidency.
Now I’ve just got to ask—where on Earth did you find this can in such good shape?!
There is a “junk” yard/ antique store out in the country half way between Raleigh and Charlotte. I stopped in one day and went crazy with photos. Couldn’t believe when I saw this can lying in the grass.
Melinda, I think the story on the beer was that it was a complete flop, even though it was mass produced for a year or so.
Give me PBR any day!
