Portabello Mushroom

It's hit close to 100 degrees here in Raleigh for almost a week. The "dew point" is over 75%. What does that mean? It's HOT! And sticky...and humid... and just fairly miserable. Heating up anything, even the grill, just doesn't sound fun to me. But, as always, heating up the grill outside is way better than heating up the kitchen.

So out to the grill I head, but not with an Amazing Steak or Awesome Burger....

I've got Portabello Mushrooms to grill. If you've never tried a grilled mushroom, you've got to do it. These monster mushrooms are so meaty, you'll never miss the beef. oh, and since it's just a mushroom, they only stay on the grill for 5 minutes. Even your deck won't get too hot. Mmmm, my mouth is already watering.
