Topsail White Shrimp Spaghetti is a hit!

Everyone we know who's tried Topsail White Shrimp Spaghetti loves it. This is a twist on one of my favorite recipes from our Desperation Dinners cookbook. My mother's Topsail Shrimp Spaghetti has a red sauce and we wondered what would happen if we used an Alfredo sauce and fresh tomatoes. The result? Delish!

If you happen to live along the shore, go for the freshest-caught shrimp you can find. If not, frozen shrimp make a fine substitute. Nearly all supermarket shrimp is either frozen or defrosted from previously frozen shrimp. We particularly like the EZ Peel frozen shrimp, as they truly are easy to peel and are deveined, too.

At my Publix, the exact same shrimp that's still frozen in plastic bags is the one that the "fresh" seafood department sells defrosted. And since they thaw in minutes, buy the still-frozen for freshest quality once you get them home.

Hi Stephanie—I’m so jealous. I won’t get there until August! Let me know how your shrimp turns out.

looks very delicious

Good,it looks delicious,you are great.

juicy couture

We love this recipe at our house and it shows up whenever shrimp is on sale.  This is probably my husbands favorite.  We live in Ohio so fresh shrimp is unheard of around here.
