What are your favorite specialty food items? I’m a fool for these

It’s no joke. I’m a fool for the following foodie standouts. (I’d love to hear yours in the comments section following this post!)
Mrs. Hanes' Moravian Ginger Crisps:
The potato chip of the cookie world – so thin, so addictive.
Better-Than-Bouillon Lobster Base:
Boil up a bit of water, add the base and some seafood. You’ve got gourmet!
Sister Schubert’s Whole Wheat Yeast Rolls:
Delicate pillows enriched with the whole of the wheat.
Pomegranate (infused) Vinegar:
People keep asking me what’s my salad dressing secret. Here it is.
California avocados, particularly in Petra’s Guacamole:
These buttery orbs make the best guac – and here’s our best recipe!
Old-fashioned Butter Mints:
My third-grade teacher made butter mints for her students at Christmas, and I’d savor each one. Now I can have Naylor’s nearly perfect version, via Cracker Barrel, whenever I want.
Campari Tomatoes:
Why don’t modern tomatoes have any taste? My first job at 14 was grading tomatoes in a packing house, and I know about fresh and flavorful. In winter with no dirt-grown heirlooms around, Campari comes darn close.

Thanks, Beverly for the tip about Sister Schubert's Whole Wheat Yeast Rolls. I have been hoping to find just such a product! It will be on my next shopping list.

Hi Margie! You can print out a one dollar off coupon for the Sister Schubert products from their Web site. Also, they were on sale at my Publix this week for Easter, so maybe they're on sale across the country! A great time to stock up!! Enjoy!

I am fascinated by the dipping chocolate tip. With NC strawberry season just around the corner, I will definitely be trying this one! One of my favorites is Whole Foods brand (365) balsamic vinegar. Several years ago Consumer Reports rated it as one of their BEST BUYS. I am all about good balsamic vinegar that doesn't cost a fortune. Another one is Costco Brand (Kirkland) organic milk. I don't know why, but it keeps way longer than regular milk and it is rich and creamy and perfect with a cookie! I can't believe two of my favorites are "house" brands, but there you go....

Speaking of house brands, when I lived in North Carolina, I loved the Harris Teeter house brand of Cheese Straws. These are thin ribbons of a cross between a cracker and a cookie, but not sweet. I sometimes make them from scratch, but once I found the Harris Teeter brand, I just bought those. But now I live in Florida, alas. So I want to know, just for nostalgia's sake, if anyone knows if these are still sold in HT? Thanks!

When the dog bites, when the bee stings, these are a few of my favorite things! Sorry, I got a bit carried away there. 1. Baker's Dipping Chocolate (Real Dark Semi-Sweet Chocolate) So easy for making chocolate covered strawberries, just microwave and dip. Found in the baking aisle near the chocolate chips or sometimes in the produce aisle. 2. Dannon Coffee Yogurt - Okay while not a specialty item per se, this stuff flies off the shelf at every supermarket I visit. 3. Graeter's Ice Cream - From Cincinnati, OH. Any chip flavor. They will ship on dry ice. It is worth every penny. Notice a sweet chocolate, caffeine trend here?
