What’s on my kitchen floor….
I used to have to step over toddlers and toys. Now it’s just my dog, Zoe, and me in the kitchen….oh, well, it is easier to cook now.

Toys, food from dinner dropped by the little guy (gotta still sweep before I go to bed), rugs. Maybe a toy or two. :D

Actually, there's NOTHING in the kitchen floor. Now the kitchen TABLE (and DR floor, LR floor, BR floor)--that's a different story. With 4 kids, 2 dogs, a cat, and a husband to keep up with, grocery bags, backpacks, school papers, etc. are ALWAYS cluttering up the floor.

I have been a fan of yours for a long time. When I changed careers from teaching to banking, (with an hour-long commute one way), I knew I had to do something to get supper on the table quick. I picked up a copy of Desperation Dinners! over 10 years ago, and it is still one of my most used cookbooks.
