What’s your guilty pleasure food?

My guilty food pleasures usually come in waves. I've had my extra dark chocolate phase after visiting and touring Theo Chocolate in Seattle.

I've had my falafel stage when I was frequenting street fairs and researching food carts.

Seasonally I have my guilty pleasures, like brittles, fudges and my favorite no bake cookies in bite size servings.

But my never ending guilty food pleasure at least for the last 20 years is a double chili cheeseburger, fries and huge sweet tea from Snoopy's, a local "order at the window" hamburger and hot dog stand. I am not able to finish the whole thing any longer and I am not sure if that's because of a decreased appetite or my knowledge of just how many fat grams and calories I am consuming. But even just one bite is enough to satisfy that craving and for me, is simply sublime. So what I feel a little nauseated a hour or so later.

So when it comes to food cravings and indulgences, it's a Double Chili Cheeseburger for me. What's your indulgence? Come on, fess up!

There's an old chocolate chip pound cake recipe from Southern Living that I love & therefore don't make all that often. I can't resist it & tend to go overboard, so I make very rarely any more.

I LOVE cheesecake, especially my Pina Colada flavor, but rare make it because in a household of one, I'd have to eat the whole thing. Sigh.

My latest guilty pleasure is a handful of pecans sauteed in a dash of butter and sprinkled with Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. They are addictive and I have to buy the $14.99 bag of pecans from Costco every couple of weeks!
