Vegetable oil for frying
1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough, such as Pillsbury ™
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk

1. Pour enough vegetable oil in a medium saucepan for there to be at least ¾ inch depth. Heat over medium high heat.
2. Twist dough into crescent shapes and drop three or four at a time into the hot oil. Fry on one side until puffed and golden brown and turn. Repeat until all the dough is fried, removing them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
3. In a small bowl mix together sugar and milk to make glaze. Glaze the fried dough and serve immediately warm. Safely discard the oil.
