Barbequed Slaw

START TO FINISH: 15 minutes to prep, at least 1 hour to chill
Barbequed Slaw
1 small green cabbage (about 1.5 pounds)
1 large onion
1/2 cup barbecue sauce of choice
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1. Shred cabbage and onion into heat-resistant bowl. In a small saucepan, bring barbecue sauce, vinegar and water to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over cabbage and onion. Stir well to mix.
2. Chill for at least 1 hour to marinate. Stir in mayonnaise and serve, or cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Pat, You are right the cabbage weight is wrong, but as far as the consistency, it is a Lexington NC style slaw and it is thinner, not creamy. Sorry you didn't like it....Alicia The cabbage weight is correct now...1.5 pounds

I just made the Barbequed Slaw. This is the first time that I've been disappointed with one of your recipes. A 3 pound cabbage made 12 cups...not 6. And I found the dressing very watery. Has anyone had this problem? Thank You
