Oatmeal Raisin Pie

4 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup old fashioned or "quick" oats (not instant oatmeal)
1/2 cup raisins
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar well. Add the eggs 1 at a time, mixing gently after each addition. Add the corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat until smooth.
3. Stir in the oatmeal and raisins. Pour the mixture into an unbaked pie crust. Place the pie on a cookie sheet.
4. Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and firm to the touch. Cool at least 1 hour before serving.

I just made it! I used maple syrup instead of corn syrup since I didn't had any at home .... Absolutely delicious!
