Quick Ground Chicken Burgers

For the burgers:
1 pound ground chicken
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, no salt added, drained well
1 tablespoon (canned) chopped green chilies
juice from 1/2  lime
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 cup prepared plain bread crumbs

Optional:
sliced provolone cheese
cucumber slices
romaine lettuce
toasted sesame seed buns
mayonnaise

1. In a large bowl, mix together chicken, well-drained tomatoes, chilies, lime juice, egg and bread crumbs. Divide into 4 sections and form into 4 equal patties, about 1-inch thick and 3 to 4 inches across.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook burgers for 3 to 4 minutes each side, or until inside temperature reaches 160 degrees and burgers are cooked through. (Burgers can also be grilled on a griddle pan.) Serve immediately as desired.
