Bottled tartar sauce from the grocery also can be used.
Shrimp Po' Boys with Tartar Sauce
1 package (14 ounces) frozen popcorn shrimp
2/3 cup Homemade Tartar Sauce*
4 sandwich buns with sesame seeds
Cook the shrimp according to package directions. While the shrimp cook, make the Tartar Sauce, click here for recipe.
Spread both halves of the bun with a heaping tablespoon tartar sauce. (The buns can be toasted first if you prefer.) Place 12 to 15 cooked shrimp on each sandwich bun. Serve at once.
